Amanda Usselman

Amanda Usselman was born in Amherst, Ohio and raised in Austin, TX. She has two younger sisters and a younger brother.

Amanda started playing basketball in the 7th grade and was a four year start at Leander High School. During her career she was named 1st team All-District her senior year and  2nd team All-District her junior year. She also played for ALM during her high school years.

Amanda was selected to play in Italy for the USAA International Athletes. She played at the collegiate level at Texas Lutheran University until she tore her ACL. She then transferred to Texas State to be closer to home and to finish her degree. Amanda will graduate this summer with a degree in Exercise Sports Science and is currently working on her certification in Personal Training as well.

This is Amanda’s first year coaching with Lady Magic and she is very excited to start working with her 7th grade team to help improve their fundamental skills and overall knowledge of the game.
