CASSIE SIMPSON

Cassie is originally from Amarillo, TX where she is recognized for academic and all-state achievements in many sports during her high school career. After moving to Austin, she began her coaching career for Lady Magic in 2007 as an assistant for the junior varsity team under the Director, Amy Burnett. She has then coached Lady Magic teams at all age levels from the 4th Grade Developmental Team to assisting the National competing Varsity squad. She also served as a 8th grade coach for Round Rock I.S.D. along side Coach Burnett. Cassie believes her job each season is to take each of her players to the next level, mentally and physically. She utilizes basketball specific conditioning drills and emphasizes the valuable fundamentals essential for becoming a complete and dominant basketball player. Cassie recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health. She is currently attending Texas State University to pursue a masters degree in Education. She enjoys exercising, serving as a personal trainer, cooking, attending Longhorn basketball games, and watching new movies. Hook 'em!
