 KARI MURPHY
Kari Murphy grew up in Smithville, Texas. She began playing basketball before she entered Kindergarten. She played basketball, volleyball, softball, and track throughout middle and high school. During high school, Kari played varsity basketball all four years. Her team competed in the state tournament in Austin, where they finished 2nd in the 3-A division. After graduating from high school, Kari attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on an academic scholarship. She began teaching shortly after. Kari joined the Walsh Middle School coaching team in the fall of 2010 where has enjoyed assisting in volleyball and coaching the 8th grade Lady Wildcat basketball team. Kari is very excited to be joining Austin Lady Magic this spring!
