Lance Seveska
Over the past 15 years Lance has experience coaching basketball, softball, and volleyball. His coaching ranges from 4 grade basketball to Varsity high school basketball. Lance coached for 3 years for City of Novato, California youth basketball, 4 years with Spring Valley, California youth basketball, 2 years for Chico Parks and Recreation, 3 years at Sonoran Trails Middle School (Phoenix) and 3 years at Cactus Shadows High School (Phoenix). At Sonoran Trails Lance's team went undefeated back to back seasons and won the 2006 Arizona Junior High State Championship. Lance has experienced great success at the high school level, including undefeated JV seasons and 3 trips to the Final Four in Arizona at the varsity level. Besides coaching, Lance is a professional sports official. Lance has been officiating for 17 years and currently officiates Division II wome'ns college basketball, as well as high school basketball, volleyball, softball, and baseball. He is striving to obtain the Division 1 level for college officiating. Lance has recently graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Parks and Recreation Management. He is currently working for the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department. Lance has directed numerous basketball camps for ages 8 and up during the summer and has also provided private training lessons for girls in the Phoenix areas. He has also successfully coached club basketball teams from 4th-8th grade since he was still in high school. Lance's expectations for the season are that each player will work assiduously each day to develop their basketball skills. Although perfection is an impossibility, striving toward perfection is not.
